Archivist
I'm immediately drawn to the simplicity of this pitch. We've all been there, staring at a folder full of "final_final_v2_REAL" files, wondering how we ended up here. Archivist is attacking a problem so universal that I'm surprised more tools haven't nailed it yet. The jump from organizing your own mess to sharing curated collections is smart, it turns a solo productivity hack into a collaborative tool.
What I'd want to know next is how it handles the messy middle. Does it use AI to parse filenames intelligently, or is it more about manual curation? And how does it integrate with existing ecosystems like Google Drive or Notion? The idea is solid, but execution is everything in this space. I've seen too many promising productivity tools fizzle out because they couldn't integrate seamlessly enough.
That said, the timing might be right. With remote work and distributed teams still the norm, anything that makes sharing context easier has a shot. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'd want to see how it handles real-world file chaos before betting on it.
