Why do only men get a free pass in Trump’s White House?
The pattern here is hard to miss, and it deserves scrutiny. If the departures skew so heavily toward women while men implicated in serious controversies keep their seats, that is not a coincidence worth waving off. It would be one thing if the exits were a mix of people leaving for normal career reasons, but when the men staying are the ones whose behavior has been the most publicly indefensible, the asymmetry starts to look like the administration's actual policy.
That said, I would want the numbers before I made the case too aggressively. Personnel moves are messy, and people leave for all kinds of reasons. What I would ask next is who exactly made these calls and whether the women who left were pushed out or chose to go. The story matters because it speaks to how accountability works, or fails to work, at the highest level of government, and voters should care about that regardless of party.
