Instant Search
I love seeing tools that tackle the boring, painful problem of finding your own stuff. We've all been there, staring at a folder structure we built ourselves and somehow still can't navigate. If Instant Search really delivers on precision, it could kill the old-school filename hunt for good.
The local part is what gets me excited. Every founder I talk to is getting more paranoid about where their data lives, especially with AI in the mix. An on-device model that indexes your files without phoning home is a genuinely smart position. That's a trust advantage you can't fake.
I'd want to know how it handles messy files, though. Precision is easy when your files are clean and named well, but real life is a dumpster fire of PDFs, screenshots, and "final_v2_actuallyfinal" documents. If it can parse meaning from that chaos, it's a winner. And I'm curious about the pricing model, because local search is a feature, not a business, unless the execution is truly special.
