Volkswagen's replacement for the ID.4 crossover is here

Volkswagen has pulled the ID.4 out of the timestream and conjured its successor, the ID. Tiguan, from the MEB+ platform—a mid-size crossover carrying the nameplate of the automaker's bestseller and range up to 373 miles. Its interior channels classic VW spirits, offering retro instrument dials from Golfs, Tiguans, and Beetles of old, alongside a reassuring return of physical switches and real door handles. Pre-sales begin in Europe next week, but North American timing remains unannounced, leaving the portal open here a while longer.
