Scientists have long pondered about the existence of Planet Nine, formerly referred to as Planet X until Pluto was downgraded, out in the far reaches of the solar system. The gravitational pull of another planet would explain the trajectories of moving objects out there. But we can't see it. That may seem weird since we've actually seen exoplanets. However, the exoplanets we've seen are the brightest ones, close to their respective stars. A star that's really far from its star is hard to detect
