Southwick House in England

Southwick House in England
What an unusual place in a quaint English village!! Not to mention the yummy Tea House on the High Street in the village. Southwick House was the home to SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) in the lead up to D-Day. Thus, it is THE HOUSE where General Eisenhower and his staff waited to hear the results of the D-Day invasion. The ACTUAL maps that were used on that very day are still on display. Anyone is able to see the house from the road, but visits into the House itself hav
