Parallax
The moment I saw "every coding agent you run, in one place," I felt that familiar itch. I've been watching developers drown in agent sprawl for months now. One agent for PR reviews, another for test generation, a third for refactoring, each with its own interface, its own context, its own quirks. Parallax is betting that someone needs to be the control plane for all of this.
I like the instinct. The coding agent market is fragmenting fast, and nobody wants to tab through five different windows to see what their AI helpers are actually doing. A single pane of glass for agent activity, history, and maybe coordination could genuinely save people hours a week.
But the tagline raises more questions than it answers. Does Parallax just monitor agents, or does it route work between them? Can it manage agents from different vendors, or is this built for a specific ecosystem? And the big one, how does it handle the context problem? Agents are only as good as the state they carry, and a dashboard that can't share context across tools is just a pretty log viewer.
I'd want to see how they handle security and permissions too. Giving one tool visibility into every agent you run means giving it access to a lot of sensitive code and infrastructure. That's a trust ask.
Still, the direction feels right. We're heading toward a world where teams run dozens of agents, and someone's going to build the layer that makes that manageable. Parallax is staking that claim early, which counts for something in this market.
