Plango
I like the instinct here. The moment attackers start using AI to scale their nonsense, the old rule-based defenses turn into a speed bump. Plango's bet that you need an AI on your side just to keep pace feels right, and it's a direction a lot of security teams are already circling.
But I'd want to see the mechanics before I get too excited. "Use AI to defend against AI" is a great tagline, but it doesn't tell me whether they're building detection models, automated response systems, or something closer to a deception layer. The hard part in this market is proving you're not just another chatbot with a firewall sticker on it.
What makes it interesting is the timing. Every CISO I hear from is losing sleep over AI-generated phishing that looks identical to a boss's email. If Plango can demo a real, measurable drop in successful attacks, they could ride a wave of panic into some serious enterprise deals. For now, I'm watching for the technical deep dive.
