Own 1
The slogan is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and honestly it's a smart move. "Own your data. Own your AI. A mind of your own" is the kind of line that founders wish they'd come up with, because it taps into a genuine frustration. People are waking up to the fact that they've handed over years of personal information and now pay subscription fees to use tools trained on it.
But a tagline isn't a product. I'd want to know what this actually is, whether it's a local-first AI app, a data vault, a device, or something else entirely. The "mind of your own" part is interesting, it suggests personalization that stays on your side of the fence rather than in someone's cloud. That's a real differentiator if it holds up.
I'm cautiously optimistic. The space is crowded with privacy-washing, and a lot of "own your data" pitches turn out to be marketing fluff. But the timing is right, and if the execution matches the messaging, this could resonate with the growing crowd of people who are done being the product. I just wish the description had given me more to sink my teeth into.
