ESP-Mosaico
The thing that grabs me is that this board is pitched at agents, not just another generic IoT dev kit. We've seen a thousand ESP32 boards, but almost all of them are aimed at hobbyist electronics or basic sensor projects. Someone explicitly designing around the agent workflow signals that the hardware world is finally waking up to what software folks have been building for the last couple of years.
Modularity is the angle that makes sense here. Agents aren't one size fits all. One project needs a camera and a motor driver, another needs LoRa and a microphone array. A snap-together approach means you don't buy a board with five features you'll never touch just to get the one you actually need. That's a real pain point for people iterating fast on prototypes.
I'd want to know what actually makes this different from just stacking shields on a standard ESP32 dev board. Is there a better connector standard, a software layer that handles module discovery, or power management that actually works when you hot-swap? Those details will decide whether it's a genuine step forward or a nice case with extra pins. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I want to see the documentation and the module lineup before I get too excited.
