Notion: Context for your agents
Notion is betting that the most valuable thing it can sell you in the agent era is a memory. The pitch here is simple: your docs and databases already hold the story of your work, so why should an AI agent need you to retell it every time you swap tools? Let the context live in Notion and any agent can pick up where the last one left off.
I like the instinct. The real tax on AI workflows right now is re-explaining your project, your constraints, your decisions, over and over. Whoever owns that context owns a big chunk of the workflow. Notion already sits in the middle of how a lot of startups organize themselves, so turning that into a context layer for agents is a natural extension.
The catch is trust. An agent is only as good as the context it actually pulls, and I'd want to know how Notion decides what matters, whether it surfaces stale or conflicting info, and how much control you keep over what gets shared with a third-party agent. Still, if this works, it makes switching agents feel cheap, and that's exactly the kind of friction founders want gone.
