Notif
I've been waiting for someone to take a serious swing at Apple Reminders. It's the app everyone has and nobody loves, with a user base that's already there and a UI that's been frozen in time for years. Notif is betting that an AI layer can do what Apple hasn't: make the list actually work for you.
The move is smart because it sidesteps the hardest part of any productivity app, which is getting people to download one more thing. Reminders is already on every iPhone, so Notif just needs to be good enough to earn a permanent spot in that workflow. I'd want to know how it handles privacy, since Apple users tend to be picky about where their data goes, and whether it can sync cleanly without breaking the native experience.
I think there's a real opening here. AI task management has been all about standalone apps, but the winners might be the ones that sit on top of what people already use. If Notif can turn vague thoughts into scheduled, prioritized actions without me having to think, that's a product I'd actually keep.
