Agentic CleanSlop
The pitch is simple: let your agent log in, look around your codebase, and fix what's broken without you ever leaving the chat. That's the part that gets me. We've spent years watching developers bounce between their editor, their terminal, and a browser tab just to debug one thing. If CleanSlop actually handles the authentication piece cleanly, it removes one of the biggest friction points in agent-driven development.
I do want to know what "fix" means in practice. Does it patch security vulnerabilities, clean up technical debt, or just reformat lint errors? The name suggests sweeping up the mess, but the scope matters a lot. And there's the obvious trust question. Handing an agent your credentials and letting it make changes to your app is a big step. I'd want to see how it handles rollbacks and whether it asks before touching anything risky.
Still, the direction feels right. Agents are getting more capable every quarter, and the tools that make them safe to hand real work will win. CleanSlop is betting that cleanup is the job founders actually want to delegate first, and honestly, that might be the smartest place to start.
