BAND for Developers
The pitch is simple and I like it: coding agents have gotten good at individual tasks, but real software development is a team sport. BAND is betting that the next bottleneck is coordination, getting multiple agents to divide work, review each other, and merge their outputs without stepping on toes. That feels like the right problem to chase.
Most of the current tools treat the agent as a solo developer that happens to be very fast. But anyone who has watched a single agent try to handle a large codebase knows where that breaks down. Context windows fill, changes collide, and the agent loses the plot. BAND's angle, making agents work like a squad with roles and handoffs, could be what pushes these tools from demo magic to something a real team trusts.
I'd want to know how it handles conflict resolution and who decides the plan. Agent-to-agent communication is still young and it can get expensive fast. But the direction is right. If BAND can make multi-agent collaboration feel boring and reliable, that's a bigger deal than another model wrapper.
