AskDoozy
The phrase "does your real work" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, and that's exactly why I'm paying attention. Plenty of AI tools promise to make you faster at your job. AskDoozy is claiming it will just do the job. That's a different category of ambition, and it's the kind of thing that makes founders sit up and rethink their stack.
I want to know what "real work" means in practice. Is it filing tickets, drafting replies, pulling data, updating CRM fields? The demo matters more than the pitch here. If it can genuinely close a loop inside Slack without someone babysitting it, that changes the calculus on headcount for early teams. You could run leaner and move faster, which is the whole game.
The Slack angle is smart because it removes friction. Nobody wants another dashboard to check. But it also means AskDoozy is betting on Slack staying central to how teams operate. That feels like a safe bet for now, though I'd want to see how it handles messy, ambiguous requests where the user doesn't even know what they need. That's where most of these tools fall apart. Still, if they crack that, this could be a serious piece of infrastructure.
