/dev/null
A social network named /dev/null is either a joke that understands developers perfectly or a joke that's about to eat itself. I like the audacity either way.
The dev social space is crowded and graveyard-heavy. GitHub, Stack Overflow, a dozen forgotten forums, everyone has tried to be the place developers actually hang out, and most have ended up quieter than a Sunday server room. Slapping the name of the void on a new one is a statement: we know what happens to most of these, and we're doing it anyway.
What I'd want to know next is what it actually does differently. A name only carries you so far, and developers are famously allergic to yet another login. If it's just Twitter with syntax highlighting, it'll earn its name faster than the founders hope.
Still, the fact that it's being discussed at all on day one is more than most social networks get. I'm curious enough to click the link.
