3AM Super Intelligence
Every founder who has ever been woken up by a page knows the real cost of a 3am incident: the foggy decision-making that follows. So a tool that promises to investigate, prove, and fix production incidents on its own is aiming at a genuinely painful moment. The "proven" step is the one I keep coming back to. Any AI can guess at a root cause, but proving the fix before applying it is what separates a helpful assistant from a liability.
I'd want to know how it validates that proof. Does it replay traffic, run checks against metrics, or just compare logs? And what happens when it's wrong? The blast radius question matters more at 3am than at 3pm, because the humans who could catch a mistake are asleep.
Still, I think this is the right direction. The best use of AI in operations is absorbing the worst shifts, so the humans can bring fresh judgment to the hard calls. If this tool really does handle the investigate-prove-fix loop end to end, it could change how small teams think about on-call entirely.
