Üç Haclı Kilise in Çavuşin, Turkey

In the red valley, one can find Üç Haclı Kilise, also known as Three Crosses church. It is carved directly into the rock. Though heavily eroded, it is thought that the church housed a monastic community. The church contains some beautiful frescoes, which were painted in the tenth century, though the church structure itself may have been carved as early as the AD 600s.
