Palomino
Palomino is betting that coordination is the real bottleneck for AI agents. Most agent frameworks I've seen run tasks one after another, which is fine for demos and painful for real workloads. A workspace built to run agents in parallel, ultrafast, is exactly the kind of tool that could decide whether a team ships agentic features at all.
I'd want to see how it handles the messy parts: shared state, race conditions, and what happens when two agents try to write to the same file or API. Parallelism is easy to promise and hard to deliver cleanly. The name is a nice nod to a fast horse, but speed only matters if the results stay reliable.
The early discussion is mostly curiosity, which is normal for a launch like this. I'm watching to see if it turns into real usage. Show me a team that swapped out their old sequential pipeline and cut runtimes without losing accuracy, and I'll be a believer.
