Autonomous is stepping into the agent orchestration game with Harness, a command center that promises to put every coding agent and every machine under one roof. The pitch is simple: instead of juggling a dozen AI coding tools and infrastructure dashboards, teams get a single pane of glass to watch, manage, and coordinate it all. The tagline says it all, every coding agent, every machine, one command center, and while the details are still thin, the ambition is unmistakable. With AI assistants multiplying across dev teams and nobody quite sure who's running what, the timing feels right for a layer that brings order to the chaos.

That tagline is a big promise. Every coding agent, every machine, one command center. I've watched enough agent tooling roll out this year to know the real pain point is sprawl: teams run a handful of AI helpers for code review, test generation, and bug fixing, and nobody has a clear view of what's actually running. So a control plane for all of it makes sense. The hard part is whether Harness can plug into the messy reality of existing workflows or whether it demands a rewrite of how a team operates.

I'd want to know which agents it actually supports, how deep the integration goes, and whether it observes real work or just tracks dashboards. Permissions matter too. One command center with access to every agent and machine is a lot of trust to hand over. I'm not sure this wins on day one, but the direction is right. As coding agents multiply, somebody has to be the layer that watches them all. I just hope it's built for the chaos, not the demo.
