Loqui
Voice dictation has been around forever, but it's always felt bolted on. You open the dedicated dictation app, speak, copy, paste. Loqui's whole bet is that the friction was never the speech recognition, it was the app switching. Being able to talk and have text land ready to hit send in whatever window you're in is genuinely useful, especially for the founder who lives in Slack DMs and triage email.
I'd want to know how it handles corrections. Dictation is easy when it works, but the moment you have to fix a misheard word mid-sentence, the flow dies. If Loqui has a fast way to edit on the fly, it could be a daily driver. If not, it's a demo you show once and forget.
The Mac-only angle is smart too. Apple's ecosystem already has decent dictation baked in, so the bar is high. Loqui needs to be noticeably better to justify the install. I'm curious whether it's using on-device processing or cloud, because latency and privacy will decide which founders actually keep it around.
