My sock vanished

I literally only went from the couch > bathroom> bedroom upon deciding to go to sleep. Took my socks off. Threw them on the floor next to my bed. Woke up only to find 1 where I left them and put slippers on instead. Then later i went back and ripped the room apart including removing all bedding in case it ended up in there. Not in laundry basket. Not on floor anywhere, a small area to search with not many things for it to have gone under. I'm the only one here with no pets. Makes no
